by Concert Imaginaire

/

about

The title Finale of Seem is from the Wallace Stevens’ poem about impermanence, The Emperor of Ice Cream:
“Let be be finale of seem.
The only emperor is the emperor of ice-cream.”
Originally an improvisation over a chord progression, it is now an elegantly flowing solo for violin accompanied by guitar, bass, and piano.
